For a number of years seeing the northern lights has been on our bucketlist. After a little research on the web, we finally decided to go to Tromsø in Norway.
Even though Denmark is placed just below Norway, we still had to fly about 3 hours north to get to Tromsø. In December there is only 1 hour and 30 minutes of light and as a photographer that was a bit of a challenge.
But we got to see the Northern lights, not as powerful as we had hoped for, but it was still a beautiful experience. While waiting for the amazing aurora we got to experience a black sky lit by millions of stars including shooting ones.
It was such a great experience 🙂
