Travel destination - Madeira
In 1950 , Winston Churchill retreated to Madeira. According to legend , he explored the island in a Rolls-Royce and liked painting the fishing village of Camara de Lobos. On the eastern side of the harbour, you will find a plaque marking the spot where Churchill set up his easel.
This time we wanted to experience the natural beauty of Madeira Islands and try some of the famous Levada trails. We saw beautiful landscapes and breathtaking views, that will certainly last forever in our memory… superb waterfalls and lagoons, impressive cliffs and valleys, green and dense mountains contrasting with the deep blue sea. WAUUUUUUW 😉
